Man Hit And Killed On Busy East Farmingdale Highway, Police Say

Part of a busy Long Island roadway was closed for several hours after a pedestrian was hit and killed.

The crash took place around 5 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 2, on the northbound side of Route 110 northbound in East Farmingdale, said the Suffolk County Police.

The victim, a man, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver stayed at the scene. 

The incident is still under investigation.
